Philosopher's Path
Within walking distance of Kyoto University, the "Philosopher's Path" was named after Kitaro Nishida, the founder of the philosophical movement now known as the 'Kyoto school'. He served as professor of philosophy at Kyoto University for many years. There is a legend that he liked to philosophise whilst walking along streets such as this charming canal side walk.
