Abstract Deadline April 25, 2014 May 8, 2014

The abstract should be no more than 500 words and sent as a microsoft word file or a text file to ccpea2014@bun.kyoto-u.ac.jp
The selected paper will be given a 30 minutes presentation time including Q&A session (Time allocation is tentative).

The applicant should also provide the following information:
a) Name (please capitalize your family name)
b) Affiliation
c) Title/Position
d) Postal Address, Telephone Number, and Email Address
e) Please let us know if you would attend or not without accommodation support from the CAPE.
f) Abstract title
g) Topics; Please choose the category of your presentation from the following. (You can choose more than one category.)
Contemporary philosophy in a broad sense:
philosophy of language, mind, action, society, art, law, logic, mathematics, science, technology, and religion
Applied philosophy and ethics;
Analytic Asian philosophy, comparative philosophy, metaphysics, epistemology and so on.
History of philosophy

The notification of the results of applications will be e-mailed to each applicant by the end of May 2014.

Accommodation Support
Call for Accommodation Support is now closed. Thank you for all your applications.
The CAPE will offer a limited number of accommodation support to young scholars from overseas. We hope this system will encourage as many young scholars as possible to apply and to attend our conference.
The CAPE covers an accommodation fee in Kyoto during the conference from August 27 to August 30. (check-out on Aug. 30).
